The Farmer Chef Connection is a unique annual gathering that brings together food producers (principally farmers, ranchers and artisans) with food buyers (chefs, retailers, processors, distributors, and institutional purchasers) for what is first and foremost a business-to-business networking event. http://seattle.chefscollaborative.org

9:00am to 10:00am - Keynote Address featuring Chef/Author Tom Douglas & Farmer Luke Woodward: A Conversation between a Chef & Farmer

10:00am to 11:00am - Panel Discussion moderated by Chef Instructor/Author, Greg Atkinson: Food Certifications & Labels - the Next Generation

Breakout Topics will include:
• Meeting the Challenge of Local Distribution
• Branding/Marketing of Local Products and Menus
• Meat 401--Rules and Regulations for 'In-house' Charcuterie
• Meat 402: Mobile Slaughter Units in Washington State
